DC Converter

Compact and efficient 6 Amp DC Converter, designed specifically for robotics and droid use. Will drive a large number of power hungry servos and controllers in parallel.

• Wide input voltage: 9V-36V
• 5V or 6V output (specify when you order. Can do custom voltages, even 12V for 24V system)
• Loads up 6 Amps
• Uses a highly efficient step-down switching regulator from Texas Instruments
• Input Polarity Protection Diode
• 4 screw terminal output positions
• 2 "servo" power headers
• USB Power Output (can be added to any board, but only enabled on +5V option)
• VIN Pass Thru Output - optional (typically 12V)
• Assembled, tested and ready to use
• Small 2" x 1.5" footprint

Add a Power Strip / Terminal Block if you need more outputs or convenientlylocate power somewhere else in the robot.

Notes:

• Stealth Controller Receiver has a secondary input voltage so you can drive servos at +6V if needed.
• +5V is the most common option and used on the Stealth Controller Receiver. +6V is offered to drive large high torque servos.
• For custom voltage please specific in notes section of order form.
• USB Power Output only enabled when +5V option selected, but can be added (dormant) to any board.
• Stand-offs not included.
